Steel Mechanical Test Plug 375mm

Each Steel Drain Test Plug expands to suit a variety of dimensions within its range. Effective sealing is simple. Steel Test Plugs and Stoppers merely need inserting into a pipe or other opening and the brass wing nut to be turned clockwise. The rubber ring will expand and provide a positive seal. Tightening of the wing nuts are simple with the use of friction free washers. Sizes range from 2" to 36" (38 to 900 mm) and great for leak testing, isolation, sealing, stopping and even for the weld purging of pipework

Application

Effective sealing is simple. The SPA or Mechanical Plug Steel merely need inserting into a pipe or other opening and the wing nut to be turned clockwise. To relive back pressure build up behind the plug the cap at the end of the plug can be unscrewed
