A vintage Cartier Tank Louis with a desirable 'Paris' dial. This example was originally produced in Switzerland and retailed in France in the 1970s. It is being offered with it's original 18kt yellow gold deployment buckle. It's case measures 23x30mm and was considered the men's size at the time. In my humble opinion it can easily be worn by either gender and looks fantastic no matter the occasion. It's one thing for a design to remain relatively unchanged for over 100 years. To stay relevant that entire time? That says something.

DIAL: The original, lacquered, white enamel dial is in fair shape. The lacquer displays cracking or "spidering" that is common with Cartier dials from this era. This dial is referred to as a "Swiss Dial" referring to the denotation below the 6 o'clock roman numeral.  

CASE: A solid, 18 karat yellow gold case. The case has been previously polished in the past. The casemarks remain well defined on the case back. The hallmark on the midcase exhibits slightly more polishing. The case dimensions are 23x30 which is considered the vintage "mens" size however could easily be worn by woman as well. It presents with wear commensurate for its age. It is completed by its original blue sapphire cabochon crown. The specific crown is more uncommon due to slightly elongated size giving the watch slightly more character and increased presence on the wrist. 

MOVEMENT: Cartier caliber 78-1. The movement is currently being serviced and will come with a one year warranty dated from the time of completion. 

BRACELET/STRAP: The watch is paired on a black Hadley Roma Strap.
