The SBGA483 is a very limited Grand Seiko Collaboration with the Japanese Watch Retailer oomiya, to celebrate its 45th anniversary, this model is inspired by the image of "sunlight shining into the snowfield at dawn"
Based on the very popular colour and texture of the snow-white dial of Grand Seiko's popular SBGA211 model, the dial on SBGA483 captures the scenery of sunlight streaming into a clear snowy field after a moonlit night. This is a special model that uses a snow-white dial, which is the first in a 44GS case.
To express the contrast with the previous work "Moonlight shining into the snowy field of the dark night", this time this SBGA483 snow-white dial retains the original beautiful snowfield scenery, and the sunlight that shines there is applied to the logo near the 12th position, the second's hand, and indicator hand in gold.
Adopting the 44GS case like the previous model, the Zaratsu-polished mirror surface emits a beautiful shine, creating an exquisite harmony with the snow-white dial that evokes the dawn.

The Spring Drive 9R65 Caliber is designed, adjusted and assembled by hand, by acclaimed craftsmen and women at the Grand Seiko Shinshu Watch Studio in Japan. Spring Drive, recognized as one of the great innovations in modern watchmaking, is a spring-driven movement with a state-of-the-art electromagnetic regulator that functions without an external power source. Its sole power source is a mainspring, which drives a series of gears like a traditional mechanical watch and delivers a precision of one second a day, a rate unprecedented for a watch powered by a mainspring. The Spring Drive movement further celebrates the passage of time as a poetic journey with every revolution of the second's hand around the dial.
